We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Maestro credit cards in the primary renter's name at the rental desk. Diners Club, virtual cards, debit cards, and prepaid cards are not accepted.

Payments are processed in local currency. Some payment providers may charge fees for transactions or refunds, such as currency conversion or processing fees. Unfortunately, these charges are beyond our control and cannot be refunded. We recommend checking with your payment provider for more information.

A refundable deposit of USD 800 will be placed on your credit card at the start of the rental. This deposit will be fully refunded when the vehicle is returned without any issues. Please note, the deposit amount may vary depending on factors such as rental duration, selected waivers, fees, and other conditions.

The security deposit will also cover any incidental charges, including fines or damages incurred during your rental period.

Additional insurance is optional, but you may want to consider it if:

• Your credit card insurance does not fully cover the rental.
• You prefer more comprehensive coverage and want to reduce your financial responsibility.

Additional Insurance Options:

• Additional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) - (Insures damage on Rental Car): For $11 per day, you can reduce your deductible to $800.
• Additional Liability - (Insures damage to third party): For $7.95 per day, you can reduce your deductible to $1,500.

These options give you extra peace of mind by further limiting your financial responsibility in case of damage or theft.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable rental experience with Travel Rent a Car, here are a few important things to know before booking:

Renter’s Responsibilities:

• Parking and Traffic Violations: Renters are responsible for any parking or traffic fines incurred during the rental period.

• Fuel Policy: Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at the start of the rental. A refueling surcharge of $15 per 1/8 of a tank applies for any shortfall.
  

• Damage Costs:
  • Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W.) Accepted: If C.D.W. is accepted, the renter is responsible for the first $800 of any damage.
  • C.D.W. Declined: Renters assume full responsibility for all damages if C.D.W. is declined.
    

Vehicle Use:

• Authorized Drivers Only: Only drivers named in the rental agreement are permitted to drive the vehicle.
• Restricted Use: No off-road driving, racing, or illegal activities are allowed. Damages resulting from these actions will not be covered by C.D.W.
